This painting is of some beautiful wild sand dunes which border Famara beach on the North coast of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. This town is popular with surfers and kite surfers because of its windy nature. I loved the ripples on the sand dunes, which appear pink depending on the time of day.

 Each painting is completely unique as I dont generally paint the same thing twice.
